TEAM PASSION is a faith-based basketball club founded in 2024 by WNBA Legend Rushia Brown. With a desire to positively impact young ladies playing the sport that saved her, Brown has assembled a staff of women that have all played at the collegiate and professional levels to lead its student-athletes.
We are committed to a holistic approach to the development of the female student-athlete. The skill set developed on the court will compliment the character developed off the court in order to prepare our young ladies for excellence at the next level. The goal of the organization is to get college opportunities for its members.
TEAM PASSION was developed under SERVCOM, Inc, a 501c3 non profit organization and has started with 3 teams. This is our inaugural season under the direction of WNBA veteran and international star, Rushia Brown and non-profit organization SerVcom.
Our team uplifts each young lady by instilling transferable skills that will empower her both on and off the court.

Rushia Brown
Founder/Director
Rushia Brown, the South Carolina native has made the world her home. As a professional athlete, Rushia played 17 seasons of basketball in 6 different countries. The Furman University and Southern Conference Hall of Famer, was one of the original pioneers in the WNBA, which started in 1997. Brown’s WNBA career spanned 7 years, 6 of which she spent with the Cleveland Rockers and 1 with the Charlotte Sting. Her 10 years internationally allowed her to live and play in Spain, France, Italy, Greece and Korea. Her emergence in these various cultures gave her the perspective needed to thrive in a life after sports.
Brown has made her mark in various sectors of business and continues to travel the world inspiring others to use their gifts and talents to pursue their dreams. Rushia spent 5 years as a WNBA executive starting with her time with the NBA/WNBA front office in New York as a member of the Crossover Program. In 2018 Brown helped relocate the San Antonio Silver Stars to Las Vegas, where she served as the Player Programs & Franchise Development Manager for the Las Vegas Aces for 2 years. Brown then served as the Director of Community Relations and Youth Sports for the Los Angeles Sparks for 2 years before relocating to Atlanta, GA where she currently serves as a catalyst for change for those looking to take their lives and professions to the next level through her nonprofit, SERVCOM, Inc. Her commitment to professional athletes continues as she serves as a financial literacy consultant for EDYOUCORE and was recently elected to the Board of Directors of the National Basketball Retired Players Association.
Rushia is also the proud mother of one daughter, Morgan MacKenzie Brown.
Adriana Gray
VP of Basketball Operations
Adriana Gray, VP of Basketball Operations for Team Passion comes with a wealth of experience and knowledge. She is an Auburn University graduate, former basketball alum and FIBA professional. She has coached and trained in the metro Atlanta area for over the past 20+ years. Coach Gray trains a wide array of players ranging from ages 7 and up. Her commitment to both boys and girls allows her to be versatile in training . Her proven track-record that the fundamentals of basketball is the core element for developing basketball players. Coach Adriana Gray loves the game and believes “I WIN because I think like a CHAMPION!”
